ABOUT SALIX INTERNATIONAL INTERIORS & CONTRACTING LTD
Salix commenced production in January 2019 and is based in Firemount Textiles Building, Estate Road, Goodlands, Mauritius.

We manufacture all types of bespoke joinery including wall and ceiling panelling, counters, doors and frames, wardrobes, kitchens, mouldings for walls and ceilings, and all types of loose furniture custom made to the Client’s requirements.

Salix has been awarded the certification ISO 9001/2015 and is currently obtaining FSC and IFC certification. The FSC certification permits the use of “green” products for production of joinery and furniture items for “green projects”. The IFC certification permits the manufacture of Fire Rated Doors and Frames. Both these certificates will be obtained by February 2020

MANAGING DIRECTOR - DUNCAN HOWARTH
The Managing Director, Duncan Howarth, has over 35 years of experience in the field of manufacturing and installing high quality interiors. This includes many prestigious projects such as the Dorchester Hotel, London, Burj Al Arab, Dubai; Address Hotel, Dubai; Sultan of Brunei’s Palace, Brunei; Ruler of Sharjah Palace, Sharjah; Sultan of Oman, Seeb and Salalah Palace, Oman; Ritz Carlton, Hyderabad; Oberoi Hotel, Dubai; and many Hilton, Marriott, Ritz Carlton, IHG hotel properties, plus numerous private and exclusive Villas.
FACTORY MANAGER - SHIVARAJ ACHARYA
Factory Manager Mr. Shivaraj Acharya, with a trade background and 25 years of experience in the joinery manufacturing and installation field.
SNR. ESTIMATOR - SATISH ANNE
Estimation Dept. led by Snr. Estimator, Mr. Satish Anne, with 5 years estimation experience, and a depth of production management experience on which to base it.
UPHOLSTERY-IN-CHARGE - BARRY MANALIT
Upholstery-in-Charge, Mr. Barry Manalit, with over 15 years of experience in the manufacture of upholstered furniture and soft furnishings.
STORES MANAGER - VIJAYAN PADMANABHAN
Stores Manager, Mr. Vijayan Padmanabhan, with over 20 years of experience in managing the detailed handling and storage of materials.
